Unexpectedly invited for lunch after collecting new Jaguar at the garage. Thoroughly impressed with the pub, very clean, excellent staff very welcoming. Joe very friendly, and excellent service. Food first class. A real pleasure to see such a real pub.

Popped in as was located mid way for a meet up with friends. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good selection of food…the GF fish and chips were tasty, not greasy like I’ve had at other places. For price you pay all very reasonable will certainly go again of passing. Thanks

Stopped here for a couple of beers and early tea after work on several occasions. JW Lees ales recommended.Usually chose from the early evening menu which does exactly what it says on the tin. Good wholesome food and beer. More importantly staff watching who is next at the bar. Job done !
